Kristie Homuth, O.D., is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Dr. Homuth completed her undergraduate studies with a Biology major at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She completed clinical internships at Pottawatomie County Tribal Hospital in Oklahoma and both Marine Corps Recruit Depot and San Diego Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. She started her career as an active duty military officer in the United States Navy. She was an optometrist for the Marines on Camp Pendleton as well as several other small military units in remote areas of California. She obtained an additional qualification designation, specifically as an aviation optometrist who specialized in working with the needs of the flight crew. After the military Dr. Homuth had her own private practice in Pacific Beach, California.
Since 2003 Dr. Homuth has been practicing inside the Costco warehouse in Montclair, California. And since 2005 she has been practicing in the Costco in Lake Elsinore. She conducts primary eye care exams for glasses and contacts. She also comanages refractive and cataract surgery, and specializes in the treatment of dry eye. Dr. Homuth strives to truly make a positive impact on the eyes and vision of those under her care.
